Responsibility Acknowledgement

By partnering with Bible Study Offer, you’ll join a network of hundreds of churches across North America that are committed to seeking earnestly for local Bible study interests and responding promptly to all study requests. The credibility of Bible Study Offer, the soul-winning fervor of your church family, and most importantly, the spiritual life of interested learners, all rise or fall on the diligence of each participating church.

Before registering your church and agreeing to be a coordinator, please read the statements below and check each box to indicate that you understand and agree:

To add your church to the growing network of local BSO partners, present the idea to your pastor, elders, and/or personal ministries council and receive permission to proceed from the church board. This shared commitment is important because an active Bible study ministry recruits team members from the entire church family and requires sufficient funds to stock Bible study materials and widely promote the ministry. Also, though it should go without saying, you agree that your Bible study ministry will faithfully teach Bible truth as expressed in the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
As a BSO coordinator, you will be responsible to know how BSO works and to help other team members use it effectively. To do this well, be sure to read the BSO Quick Start Guide and Training Manual. You would also benefit greatly from the BSO training videos and website instructions. All these resources are available for free download and inside your BSO account.
Prompt, personal follow up service is essential to effective Bible study ministry and a key feature of BibleStudyOffer.com. All Bible study interests must be visited within a week of the initial request. After seven days, any unvisited interests will be automatically removed from your church’s interest list and sent to the Discover Bible School to receive studies through the mail. If lack of visitation persists, account restrictions may be necessary. Plan to make prompt visitation part of your Bible school DNA!
BSO is an excellent tool to help your church develop an effective Bible study ministry, but like any tool, you only get out of it what you put into it. Mass mailing and digital advertising can help generate interest; online and correspondence studies certainly have their place, but the indispensable element of effective Bible study ministry and the key uniqueness of Bible Study Offer is personal labor. Don’t expect new study interests to automatically appear in your account or for Bible studies to take place online. By joining Bible Study Offer, your church is pledging to find and follow up with Bible study interests through earnest, personal effort.
